EUREKA SPRINGS IS OFFICIALLY THE WEDDING CAPITAL OF THE SOUTH

The Wedding Committee of the Greater Eureka Springs Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that Eureka Springs now has the legal trademark, WEDDING CAPITAL OF THE SOUTH. The
wedding and romance market is a core element in the growth and development of tourism and the economic life of Eureka Springs. The unique and delightful image of America’s Victorian Village combined with its many attractions and activities for entertainment have made our city the popular wedding destination that it has become today. The legal acquisition of the trademark, Wedding Capital of the South, will bring more visitors to Eureka Springs and enhance our growing reputation as a unique place to come for wedding and romance.

Eureka Springs offers an amazing variety of different venues for weddings of all sizes. These include historic hotels, Thorncrown Chapel, churches and chapels, modern hotels, Victorian bed and breakfasts, and the beautiful lakeside locations of the Ozark Mountains. Besides being married in a traditional church or chapel setting, a couple may choose an intimate cabin, on horseback, in a canoe, with wild lions and tigers, in a cave, in a castle or on a boat. Everything needed to provide a dream wedding can be found in the Wedding Capital of the South, including ministers, planners, flowers, cakes, music, limousine, photography, dining, full receptions, clothing, jewelry and the all-important honeymoon.

Thousands of couples choose Eureka Springs each year for their special ceremony and celebration, truly making us the WEDDING CAPITAL OF THE SOUTH. Not only do these weddings bring couples along with their families and friends to town, but, once these folks have discovered the beauty and bounty of Eureka Springs, they make many return trips for vacations, wedding renewals and romantic get-aways.

The Wedding Committee is now launching a Wedding Capital of the South branding campaign to educate fellow Chamber members and our community about the importance of this new trademark, which will be supported by a new logo soon. Wedding vendors and businesses in Eureka Springs will be encouraged to use this logo everywhere possible in their literature and internet advertising. The Wedding Committee invites all members of the wedding community to support weddings in Eureka Springs and the Chamber by joining us in the Wedding Capital of the South promotion campaign.
